It all started with my Grandfather, who founded a butcher shop in Tripoli, Lebanon. It’s success boomed however due to war and complications we had to relocate and arrived in Australia in 1969. My Grandfather Abu Ahmad Dabbour opened ‘Dabbour Butchery’ in Redfern, Sydney and is where I learnt the trade and style of Lebanese Butchering. Through this the Tradition and Name of Dabbour is well known through out the Lebanese Community in Sydney. Fast forward into 2015, we started Dabbour Quality Meats locally known as the ‘Quality Meats Butcher’.
